Privacy policy

LocalON OS (the “operator”) publishes this policy under Article 30 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act to protect personal data and handle related complaints promptly. This is a translation for convenience; the Korean version prevails.

1. Purposes of processing

The operator processes personal data for the purposes below and asks for separate consent if a purpose changes.

Replying to and following up enquiries about adoption, partnership, support and contribution
Scheduling demos and pilot discussions
Sending requested materials (proposals, overviews)
Checking the duties of people who request materials, issuing viewing links and keeping viewing records

2. Data processed

Only what you enter yourself through the contact form — name, organisation, email, enquiry type, enquiry content and, optionally, region, department, technical interest and channel.

For material and meeting requests: name, organisation, department, job title, email, duties, requested materials and preferred meeting dates, plus a record of each viewing link opened (material, email, organisation, time). Viewed materials show the viewer's organisation, department, name and email.

This site has no sign-up and collects no payment information.

3. Retention

Kept for 1 year after the enquiry is closed (or, for material requests, after we reply), then destroyed without delay — unless a law requires a longer period.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not give personal data to third parties without your consent, except where a law requires it or you separately agree.

5. Outsourcing

Email is sent and received through the mail service the operator uses. Processors and their tasks: [to be confirmed].

6. Your rights

You can ask at any time to view, correct, delete or stop processing your data. Contact us below and we will act without delay.

7. Destruction

When the retention period ends or the purpose is achieved, electronic files are deleted irrecoverably and paper is shredded or incinerated.

8. Security measures

Least-privilege access, access logs and encryption in transit (HTTPS).

9. Demo app data

The demo app (/app) is for demonstration only. What you enter stays in your own browser and is not sent to a server. Location is used only to show your region and is not stored.
